Kiran Paek is the founder and director of the school. She holds MFA from New York University and a bachelor of fine arts & education from Sejong University in Seould, Korea, and AMS credentials in Primary (3-6 year olds). She has worked over 14 years in varied capacities in Primary classrooms. Prior to becoming the director, she worked as a head teacher and coordinator of primary program. She is also a field consultant for Princeton Center for Teacher Education.

Kiran is a professional dancer by training and performed in numerous modern dance productions in New York City and in New Jersey. More recently she presented her modern dance piece "Perseverance" in the production of "I Will Have What She Is Having" at Yvonne Theater at Rider University and performed in the production of "Traversity" in New York City. She volunteers her time on weekends for junior and senior high school students as the director of Princeton Korean Dance Troupe which she founded in 1993 for the purpose of spreading awareness of traditional Korean art among the public in and around New Jersey. She is married and mother of four children.
